The best hair smoothing shampoo I've used
I've tried many many products, almost all the products on the shelves in the pharmacy. Other than rinsers, the only shampoo that I loved and will continue to buy is this one. My hair is dry and frizzy, but not too curly. This shampoo and its conditioner really softened my hair and eased down the frizz. And the smell is heavenly!! i still have to try the shea butter one, as that is listed for dry hair. I recommend this lavender shampoo if you have dry and lifeless hair. Love it!

I will never buy this again
This is the worst shampoo and conditioner and body wash I have ever used. The perfume is so intense I'm have breathing difficulties. I haven't used my inhaler in years, till now. I will never recommend this to anyone who is asthmatic or sensitive to fragrances, You will cough for days on end after using this product. i have to rinse my hair in vinegar to get rid of the horrible perfume that smells nothing like lavender. just cheap perfume. My hair feels stripped and dryer than before I used the shampoo. Absolutely awful.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My only real problem with this shampoo is the scent. It’s not a bad scent, in my opinion, but it’s a very strong one. I like the lavender scent here, but I wish it was toned down a little bit. It lasts a LONG time, and it’s so strong for the first few hours that it’s practically a perfume. Some people probably wouldn’t feel comfortable smelling of lavender for hours, even if they like the scent at the time. It’s too bad because other than that, this shampoo does a good job. I actually feel like the Argan oil makes the lavender scent a lot more bearable as lavender can be prone to smelling a bit 'old person' at times.
It’s easy to lather up and rub into your hair and feels great when you rinse it out again. I didn’t notice a particularly drastic amount of smoothing out frizzy hair, but it did what I would expect from a shampoo and left me feeling very clean. You don’t need much of the shampoo to cover your hair, so the bottle should last quite a while.
I also like some of the steps that Love Beauty and Planet has been taking with their products, such as making sure they aren’t tested on animals, or making it vegan-friendly. Those kinds of things may not matter to some people, but I think it shows a good initiative that I want to encourage more companies to follow!

First I of all, I got my shampoo and conditioner combo on sale at Rexall, I thought it was a new gimmick and wouldn’t get give the product a chance.... AND GOSH DARN IT I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I tried it and my hair has been smooth, tamed , and smells like that’s trip I took in a lavender-honey farm. MUST BUY! great Forbes my coloured hair too! My foam was white! Instead of the he usual blue I get when I used my other shampoos. Gonna pop by Rexall to grabbing 2 more bottles each!

It applied nicely and made a lot of foam while I massaged my scalp. I know it has argan oil in it but my hair felt a bit dry after using this product. I liked the fact that the shampoo left my hair shiny and with a fantastic smell but I wish it was a bit more hydrating.

The scent was great . It left my hair smelling nice after wash but the event quickly faded. My hair felt a little fluffier than usual which is good. Overall it was a great shampoo to try but i will probably not purchase it on the future. This shampoo would work well for someone wanting a lot of volume.

I have very thick hair so I had to go buy more to see how it actually worked when I had enough to really go around! I love this product!!! It is supposed to be frizz controlling, but I don’t know how well that has actually worked for me. I have very frizzy curly hair. I just love this product because it smells amazing, makes my hair super soft, and it’s also made by a company that is kind to our planet! What’s not to love?

The bootle is huge so you get great value for your money. I may try another shampoo from this brand in the future.

Other than a slightly oily feeling in the back of my head (which I think is from the conditioner), this product leaves my hair feeling great and I can go a nice 3-4 days without washing again. Days later, my hair still smells like Argan Oil & Lavender. It's not an overpowering smell, but a nice, soothing smell. Love it!

I have hair that is always in need of smoothing and this did a decent job. Not great but still good. My hair felt really nice and clean and there was a good lather.

I love having a shampoo and conditioner that matches my body wash! And lavender is one of my favourite scents, so this is easy to love.
I only need a little bit of this ( it seems like less than that I usually use with my other shampoo) to cleanse my somewhat thick, medium length hair. It does leave my hair a little too clean feeling, and not as easy to brush through when I’m styling after, if I don’t use anything else but the conditioner. But it does a great job at cleansing my hair, and leaves it smelling so beautiful!
I don’t use this every time I shampoo, more like every other time, but I really love using it and would recommend for sure.

I prefer my salon products but do often look for other options that may lower my beauty costs. The Love, Beauty & Planet Argann Oil and Lavender smooth and Serene shampoo is definitely budget friendly and effective but it will remain my second in command for now.
I love the scent and the lather that is produced by the shampoo but did find that my hair didn’t respond as well as I would have hoped. It smelled good and felt great wet but I noticed it wasn’t as soft and a bit on the frizzy side after use. I would definitely keep it on hand as a back up brand but won’t be my go to.

Aside from the product working just as it should, taming and smoothing my ruly ends,the scent alone makes me so happy with this product. It comes on strong in the shower giving off a truly serene moment and then drys off into a subtle lavender-y scent that I catch a whif of throughout the day, lovely hair and lovely scent.

My hair was not any softer than usual, it didn't provide any results for my frizzy hair. I wouldn't recommend. There are better alternatives on the market. It did come with a lot of product

I received a full size bottle and have been testing it out for about 2 weeks. I absolutely love this shampoo. My hair is so soft (my niece was braiding it the other day and said how soft it was) and the frizz is gone. I have been leaving my hair to air dry. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love Beauty and Planet Lavender & Argan Oil shampoo is perfect for tackling dry frizzy hair and waves. It leaves a wonderful, woody scent behind and it lasts for a long time.
For me personally I found this shampoo to be a little too hydrating as I like to leave quite a bit of time between washes. Because of this it didn't really clean my hair effectively and left it feeling quite oily. It would be great to use right before drying and straightening my hair, but unfortunately I wouldn't get more than a day or 2 out of the style because of the greasy feeling.
This shampoo would be excellent for someone with very dry hair or for those who are prone to frizz and wash their hair daily. I don't feel that the performance of this shampoo on my hair would makes the price tag worth it for me.
