Murumuru isn't just fun to say, it's also known to be a fabulous moisturiser. The murumuru butter in our collections is made from the fruit fat found in murumuru nuts, which fall from tall palm trees that grow all across wet soils, swamps, and wet basins of the Amazon.

Farm to shower

Produced in Belem at the mouth of the Amazon River, murumuru butter is a lot like coconut oil because murumuru butter, known to be deeply nourishing, comes from the white fat found in the nuts of a palm tree. The tree's very sour fruit is usually consumed by animals as soon as it falls, but those in the know are sure to harvest it.
